Traditions are rooted in community and there is no better way to experience the community and its people than at a festival.
Beginning in May residents and visitors enjoy the Butterfly Festival presented by the Town of Hudson; the Blackberry Festival is held in July; the Sculpture Celebration and The Bridge Backpedal Street Festival – both in Lenoir; and, the Festival On Main in Granite Falls are held in September; October brings the Molasses Festival at Sims Barbeque in Granite Falls as well as the Celebration of Colors in Wilson Creek.
All festivals are free and designed to offer fun for the entire family.
