Managed by the Lenoir Parks and Recreation Department, this .43-mile paved walking park is surrounded by an oriental-inspired botanical garden with a lake, waterfowl, trees and flowers. Public restrooms are available.

Located in southern Caldwell County in Granite Falls, Lakeside Park consist of 72 acres on Lake Rhodhiss with a one-mile trail and a footpath along the shoreline. The main trail is smooth and suitable for mountain bikers and hikers while the foot path can be more strenuous. Three fishing platforms are available for hikers or anglers. Public restrooms and a picnic shelter are available.

Located in Hudson, Redwood Park provides two outdoor basketball courts, two tennis courts, one sand volleyball court, and horseshoe pits. The park also provides picnic tables and covered shelters for parties by reservation.
Redwood also has three separate playgrounds for children as well as lighted walking and biking trails, nature trails with interpretive trees, and an outdoor amphitheater in the Barton and Estoy Hayes Forest. The McCreary Recreation and Fitness Center and Hudson pool are located at the park.

Over 7 miles of paved trails are available for walking and biking. The Lenoir Greenway connects to the Caldwell County Library, the Lenoir Aquatic and Fitness Center, and the Lenoir Rotary Soccer Complex. Trail head access and parking is available at the Lenoir Rotary Soccer Complex off Zacks Fork Road, the Caldwell County Public Library off Hospital Avenue, the Powell Road access, and the Sherlee Road access.
